Rene’ Davis
Domestic Violence Educator

A psychology graduate of Mississippi State University, Rene’ has spent 28 years in the human services profession, working primarily with children and families in crisis.  This has included positions with Singing River Industries, Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse, Southern Mississippi Planning & Development District, O’Keefe Foundation, and as Director of the DOJ Weed & Seed Coalition in Harrison County.  Since 2010, Rene’ has served as Community Outreach Educator for the Gulf Coast Center for Nonviolence, providing education about domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking for tens of thousands of youth,  adults, advocates, and law enforcement throughout South Mississippi.  She is a certified trainer for the Green Dot, Safe Dates, and Men Can Stop Rape programs, and was honored in 2012 to provide domestic violence awareness training to all of the NASA installations nationwide.
